East 185th Festival Taking Place August 3- 6
July 27, 2006 – 8:32 amOne thing that’s nice about the summertime is that there is no shortage of festivals and fairs in the Greater Cleveland area.
The East 185th Festival is taking place at the Oliver Hazard Perry Elementary School Yard, 184 Schenely Ave. This is the 28th Anniversary of this festival that was started by Tony Petkovsek at his Polka Village and has grown to be a custom that celebrates music, food, and fun.
There will be 3 stages for live entertainment including polka and rock music as well as clowns and magicians for the little ones. There will be a number of rides for the kiddies, too.
Guests can shop a number of merchants offering goods for sale, and the “Taste of the Beachland” gives you the chance to buy samples of food from various restaurants in the area.
The E. 185th Parade is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Sunday August 6, 2006.
Admission is $2.00 and children under 48 inches tall are free. (with an adult)
