As if Downtown Cleveland was already a hassle to get around, a couple of water main breaks has caused a giant sinkhole at East 17th Street and Superior Avenue. The incident has also shut off water to residents and businesses in the area.

The breaks aren’t expected to be fixed until later this week. This part of Superior and East 17th Street will be closed for at least a couple of days - or until further notice.
This is the second report of a sinkhole in Cleveland in recent memory. When we had rains last year a Cleveland resident had most of his driveway and yard engulfed by a sink hole.
What do you think about this news? How many other sinkholes does Cleveland have?
