Here’s another spooktacular Halloween haunt. The “Nightmare in the Wilderness” takes place in Lodi, Ohio every Friday and Saturday night now through October 27, 2007.
Guests embark on the journey with a half-mile hayride into the wilderness. From there, walk through vortex tunnels, cemetery, mazes and scares at every turn in the path. If you survive the more-than-a-mile long trail and 70-80 actors, you will find the ride back up front.
Hours are 7:30 PM until Midnight and tickets for Adults- $13; Children (ages 6-10)- $9; Kids 5 & under are free. It’s located at 7665 Lafayette Rd. (Rt. 42) Lodi, Ohio. Parking is at the Apple Cabin.

I need directions on how to get there to the haunted forest. I tried map quest but no matches. So could you put up directions on your site? Thankyou.

The hayride was very cool. The beginning of the Wicked Wilderness was fun but the second half was boring especially if you’re following a group of people and you can see where the characters pop out. My kids enjoyed part of it. The candy apples were delicious!
