August 8, 2007 – 8:01 am

It’s been reported that starting left guard, Eric Steinbach, injured his knee during practice on Tuesday afternoon. At this time, it’s unknown how bad his injury is or whether or not it will affect his playing abilities for the upcoming regular season.

“We’re having it evaluated,” said coach Romeo Crennel. “We were inside on the turf and he came down on the knee. I would say he bruised it, but I haven’t looked at it, and I’m not the doctor, so I don’t know.”

In other Browns news, Quarterback Brady Quinn signed a 5 year deal with the team and Ryan Tucker was suspended for 4 games for steroid use.
