This mornings rainstorms have caused more flash flooding in the Cleveland area.

At the time of this writing, I-480 is closed between Brook Park Road and State Road. Traffic is backed up for miles due to cars being submerged and localized flooding, there are also reports of power outages throughout the Greater Cleveland area.

If you are driving and encounter standing water.. “Turn around and don’t drown!” Once water hits your ignition, it will render your car unable to drive or start.

It’s also worth noting that the Cuyahoga County Fair pushed back opening until 5 PM today in wake of the bad weather, so if you had plans to go earlier the gates aren’t open.

Be safe and stay dry everyone!
