If you’re like most people, you probably already feel that natural gas costs enough money. The executives at Dominion East Ohio Gas do not feel the same. In fact, they’re looking to raise the price of gas for consumers.

Dominion told the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio on Friday that it will ask for a 4 percent increase to its gas delivery rates.

That figures to about $4.50 a month in new charges, or $54 a year, for households with average gas bills - $1,284 a year.

This would be the first rate increase in 12 years for the company, and would net them an additional $73 million.

How do you feel about your gas prices going up?
