Ask anyone who’s visited Cleveland in the last twenty years what the town needs and I’m sure many of them would say “urban renewal”. You have road systems and infrastructure that were built in another time and place, and aren’t efficient by today’s standards. One of the prime examples of something needing major overhaul in Cleveland is “parking”. And Carl Walker is opening an office to do the job.
The location marks the 11th national site for Carl Walker, specializing in parking structure planning and design, restoration engineering and studies, and operations services.
Project manager for the Cleveland office will be Sara Peters, P.E. Sara is a façade restoration and repair specialist with over 10 years of experience. Her façade design experience includes providing complete architectural design and detailing of various façade components and structural design of the support systems, field evaluations and construction administration. Peters earned both the Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and her Master’s in Structural Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
Mark Postma, P.E., Carl Walker Vice-President of Restoration, says, “Bringing Sara on board and establishing the Cleveland office is part of an on-going effort by Carl Walker to provide expanded professional restoration and renovation services to our clients in Ohio, as well as surrounding states. Sara will be working closely with the restoration and technical staff in our Indianapolis, Kalamazoo, and Chicago offices to maximize the opportunity for our extensive restoration and design capabilities.”
It looks like Carl Walker will have no finding clients in the area.
