Indians Complete Three Game Sweep Of Blue Jays
May 4, 2007 – 10:53 amThe Indians are off to a great start in 2007, increasing their record to 17-8, and putting them alone atop the AL Central. The team is hot, having won 10 of their last 11 outings. Not all of the wins have been pretty, but the players are learning how to effectively win games. Now, the Indians have completed a 3 game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays.

“We’ve had to battle through a lot of things already, but we’ve hung in there,” Grady Sizemore said after his tiebreaking double in the eighth inning helped the Indians beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5 Thursday night and complete a three-game sweep.
“This team doesn’t get down on itself,” Sizemore said. “We keep fighting.”
Victor Martinez had four hits for Cleveland, which fell behind in Cliff Lee’s first start of the season but came back for its 10th win in 11 games following a 7-7 start.
The Indians continue to impress. What do you think of the team this year?
