Save Money on Travel By Flying Out of Akron-Canton, Ohio

According to the US Department of Transportation 4th Quarter report, Akron-Canton airport is the
6th least expensive airport to depart from.

The same report found that other “local” airports, including Pittsburg, Cleveland-Hopkins, Cincinnatti, and Detroit were among the 40 most expensive airports in all of the United States.

The main reaon that they are able to offer such low airfare is because Air-Tran, a well known low cost carrier, is one of their biggest people movers. They run non-stop services to Atlanta, New York (LaGuardia), Boston, Orlando, and Tampa and offers connecting flights to 23 additional cities.

Akron-Canton regional airport is also serviced by Delta Connections, Frontier Airlines, Northwest Airlink, United Express and US Airways Express.
