The time has come. Construction season is here.

Construction Coming to an Interstate Near You

How does this affect you? Well, if you use I-77 North into Cleveland West I-480 you’ll need to find an alternative route to get to your destination. Traffic is currently being detoured to 176.

I-77 will be closed for repairs for the next 5 months. The next 137 days to be exact. We’ll be able to use the greatly improved road in October.

I’ve never understood why the same roads have to be repaired every year. Last summer I-480 was torn up for the longest time. I-480 westbound through Fairview Park (Near Clague Road) has been reduced to 3 lanes to repair a bridge. The Clague Road exit was reopened not that long ago, so that helps traffic flow a little bit.

How do you feel about about road construction?

    2. Bad news for Clevelanders for a long time to come.

You could be looking at 2 hours delays for months!

    3. There’s no bigger waste of time than being at a standstill in traffic.

I can see a lot of people getting really frustrated with long delays.
Tack on a couple extra hours for drive times, high gas prices and a really hot summer and we’ll see what happens..
