Mayor Frank Jackson said that he was open to the idea of putting a sliding roof over the Brown’s Stadium, stating:

“When they built the Browns Stadium, that was on the table … but it’s worthy of further discussion”

This could be something that could draw people to our area, and represents an opportunity to play host to a future Superbowl.

I think Cleveland could use a shot in the arm like that.

It’s no longer “19whenever”, It’s 2006! We need some new “Jeptha Wade” type vision for a new century. Bob Corna seems to have some of it.. Now all that’s needed is a few million dollars.

Earlier this year Darren and I traveled to Toronto and I was surprised at how vibrant their community was on a chilly Saturday morning, it was nothing like the Flats and downtown Cleveland on a Sunday afternoon without a baseball game. The place was deserted!

I’m looking forward to hearing developments on this project, and was also happy to hear of the addition of a wind tower to generate energy for the Great Lakes Science Center. Nice job!

Well enough of my ramblings.. Have a good night all!
