A trip to Half Price Books

Today we decided to clear out some space in our 3 bookshelves and our CD rack.

It was a fond farewell to books by Stephen King and about 15 VHS video tapes that I’ve had for years.
Since we’ve spent no time viewing or reading these items, it just made sense.

I knew that the cash “payout” wouldn’t be much at Half Price Books, but since they were all in good shape, I couldn’t justify throwing them away and figured someone else in this big world might want to watch “The Little Mermaid” on VHS. It just wasn’t going to be me. :)

Their offer? $17.00. You can also use it as a store credit.

Most people would probably say “that’s not enough” for all these videos and books, but we didn’t argue.
We’re happy to have a little more storage space for the books and CD’s that didn’t have a place in a smart shelving system.

I’m happy that we have this type of store to exchange or sell books, CD’s and DVD’s.
It’s a great way to keep your personal “library” fresh and clean.
