New Red Lobster being Built in North Olmsted

Looks like North Olmsted is getting (sort of) another new dining spot at Great Northern Mall, right beside the “big” Dick’s Sporting Goods Store.
I’m assuming that they aren’t happy with their already existing location just a couple of miles away on Lorain Road, so they’re building a new one to replace it. Now that I think about, the other one is sort of old and run down on both the inside and out, and maybe an upgrade is in order.
If nothing else, the mall traffic will be a lot closer to their own parking lot and all of the other new restuarants that have been springing up all over.
I’m guessing it won’t be too long before the old abandoned building that used to be a steakhouse finds a
tenant. We’ll see what happens..
