Saturday night we met with friends at Cafe Tandoor in Westlake.
This is a nice little restaurant located in the shopping center across the street from Crockers Park
They offer a pretty extensive menu including appetizers, vegetarian and meat dishes, a wine list and even Indian style desserts.
I had the Aloo Matar, which was potatoes and peas in a light sauce. Darren had Palak Aloo, fresh spinach and spices served over potatoes. Eric had some sort of super spicy rice and Carol had (what was supposed to be) some sort of a potato ball (or is it a wedge? We still don’t know.) We passed on dessert and
afterwards, we grabbed a “cup a ‘joe” at Caribou Cafe. It was a great evening for sitting outdoors and catching up. We always have a good time when we see each other, but next time we’re going to eat somewhere else, just to be different.
Of course, with nice weather here, we could always BBQ instead..
Shish kababs fresh off the grill kick butt!
