Spring Opener at Jacob’s Field
April 10, 2006 – 2:02 pmThe Indians have got 5 wins under their belt to start their 2006 season, including the season opener at Jacob’s Field.
This is their best start since the 2002 season, with Jake Westbrook at the Pitcher’s Plate. His sinkerball helped to handily defeat the Twins, and ofhis 102 pitches, 59 were strikes. He gave up one walk for the entire game.
Let’s hope that this winning streak continues for the Tribe. A good pitcher with his eye on the prize should keep them on fire!
