Good Day for Carpet Cleaning

I decided today was a good day to clean my carpets with the old Hoover Steam Cleaner.
I hate to be corny, but this thing kicks butt, and I’m happy that we own one.
It’s a lot easier than renting one or hiring Stanley Steemer to do it and being out a couple hundred dollars when I can just do it myself. We picked it up at Sear’s a couple of years ago, so it’s already paid itself off as far as I’m concerned.
It took me a little over an hour to clean our cream carpeting. I grabbed my IPod and jammed a little while I ran the machine, so it almost felt like I got in some exercise.
It made me feel good to get this done. It wasn’t hard, but my hand is a little tender from running the machine back and forth. I opened up a couple of windows let some fresh air in and the house seems to smell better already. I’m going to try and get in the habit of doing it once every couple months. The carpet looks brighter and 100% better.
From the feel of it, the real springtime is bound to show up anyday.. then it’s time to hit the garage for a good clean out. Same goes for the car, the windows etc. Good reasoning behind “spring cleaning”
