March 21, 2006 – 7:15 pmThe district says, from the beginning of the school year through March 10th, there have been a total of 241 teacher assaults across the district. That includes High schools and K-to-8 buildings.
That’s up about 20-percent from last year during the same period of time.
Last year through March 10th, there were 204 teacher assaults.
That’s an amazing number to me. I wonder if the teachers get paid extra to take self defense classes?
