One of the best things about the holiday season is the chance to visit Ohio’s zoos and view the Christmas light displays that are put up for visitors of all ages.
The Toledo Zoo is the home of “Lights Before Christmas”. This runs from November 18, 2005 until December 31, 2005. The Toledo Zoo is located in Northwest Ohio, almost near the Michigan state line. This is open nightly, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They are closed on these dates.
Hours are 5-8 PM Monday through Thursday, and 5-9 PM on weekends.
Admission is as follows:
Adults (age 12-59): $9.00
Seniors (age 60+): $6.00
Children (age 2-11): $6.00
Children under age 2: FREE
Group Tickets are also available for parties of 20 or more and offer discounted admission.
