Directory listings are another way to help promote your website or blog. There are a great number of them out there. There are photoblog directories that specialize in listing photo galleries, Blog directories that list only active blogs, Internet directories that list an array of websites and business directories that only list businesses.
If you are looking to promote your own blog, here are some directories that I recommend:
Webs Best Directory Large directory with a number of categories, including weblogs.
Photo Blogs Org Directory for only blogs that contain photo galleries.
Sootle Web Directory General web directory with many business related categories.
