Today we went and caught the movie “Charlie” at the Regal Cinemas in Middleburg Heights.
It was the first time I’d ever been to this theater, and I decided that the Valley View Cinema has me spoiled. This cinema was pretty small compared to it. The bathrooms were sort of dirty, and a few stalls had no toilet paper.
The movie made up for it. It was a nice twist on the old time favorite, and Johnny Depp did a wonderful job of being the offbeat/reclusive/eccentric type. He reminded me of a famous pop star that will remain nameless. I think that Tim Burton gave more life to the story than the original. I thought it was pretty good movie. Still enough to give you the old school chills that it used to when I was a kid. It had a good ending, too.

I would give this flick 2 thumbs up.. interesting enough for kids.
