Another scorcher in the ‘burbs

I remember a few months back thinking that summer seemed like it would never get here.
It’s here, and has been for the last month! Today is another really hot day here in Northeast Ohio.
Not as hot as in Las Vegas or Phoenix, but hot nonetheless.

The rec center finally got their pool fixed and it reopened today. Both D and I are moderately sunburned from the past couple of days at Peterson pool, and a weird summer cold is in the air here. I’m sure the water is freezing anyhow because they just filled it, so we’ll probably head over there in the next couple of days. No biggie.

Tonight is temperature night at Freeway lanes, so if we decide to go bowling it will be good and cheap. Probably about .91 cents a game per person. With those kinds of prices there is no excuse to say that “The economics of bowling make it impossible to do”
One day soon I will break my average of about 115. I have had 2 games of shining glory that I scored over 170, but I need to do it more consistantly. Sometimes I crap out and I’m lucky to break 100. No matter how the pins fall, I always have a good time so who cares?

It isn’t like I’m trying to win a tournament for a million dollars or anything like that, but I like it better when I bowl well.
I better go clean my ball and plan on “Bowl to Win” LOL.
