Water parks

Hurray! It is June 1st.
That means that it is finally summer in Northern Ohio. I am so looking forward to the long days and warm weather. This past weekend was a taste of it, Sunday I laid out in the sun and caught a bit of a sunburn. This summer I plan on getting the best tan I have had in about 10 years.
I think water fun will help me get it.
There are a lot of pools, beaches and waterparks around here that will be on the itinerary.
Dover Water Park opens on June 22. Soak City at Cedar Point is already open with limited
hours. (11 AM-7PM) They will be open with longer hours next week. Cedar Fair bought Geauga Lake and they are rebuilding the water park there. The nice thing is, Geauga Lake
admission includes both parks, not just one like Cedar Point.
Cedar Point admission is now $44.95 for an adult and I think $24.95 for kids.
I remember when it was $19.95 for an adult.
That was a while back! We always had fun and the memories last forever, so what is a 50 spot?
A day that you can remember.
Soak City is a little less expensive, but the lazy river is a fun way to spend the day. The water slides are fun, too.
Another nice thing they have is a swim up bar. The drinks are pricy, but if you are in the mood
you can have a cocktail poolside. You have to have an ID to get served, so be sure to bring it along, or none for you!
Thank goodness for summer! I can hardly wait to get into the “swim” of things!
