It is hard to believe that we are rolling through 2005 so quickly.
Today is already the 12th day of May! Memorial Day is just a couple of weekends away.
With it comes the “14th Annual Great American Rib Cook Off and Music Festival” downtown.
This years performing artists include John Waite, Donny Iris, Ruben Studdard, Blue Oyster Cult, Eddie Money and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. At least most of these guys are able to stay out there, even if they have dropped to performing at second tier venues. I’m sure that everyone has a blast, though. It has been a long time since I have went to a concert, but they were always fun.
General admission to Rib Cook Off is 5 dollars, and includes admission to all musical venues.
Food and drink is “pay as you go” If you are looking for additional discounts on food and admission, buy tickets before hand using your Tops Bonus Card. They are one of the major sponsors.
That is just one thing going on around here for the first “summer holiday”
Soon it will be vogue to wear white shoes again..
