Cheesecake Factory – Crocker Park – Westlake, Ohio

March 14, 2009 – 8:44 am

Last night we decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory at Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio. There was a short wait to be seated at around 5 PM on this Friday night.

I’ve always been a fan of the place – they make great cheesecake after all – and it’s been a while since we’ve ate there, even after they added a location to the west side.

It hasn’t been so long that I forgot that their portion sizes are huge, though.

We decided to order a couple of appetizers – stuffed mushrooms and deep fried artichoke hearts. It was a hard call since they offer all sorts of tasty appetizers like Quesadillas, Hot Spinach and Cheese Dip and Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes, just to name a few.

We had ice tea to drink and split a Caesar Salad for dinner. The salad was so big that we both had our fill of it and there were still leftovers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they use an entire head of lettuce for this rabbit feast!

After the appetizers and salad, we each ordered a slice of cheesecake to go. Our bill came to under $45.00, not including a tip.

Everything was spot on delicious.

If you’re looking for variety, the Cheesecake Factory has a vast menu offering classics like Shepard’s Pie, Pizza, Pasta, Chicken, Chops, Steak, Burgers, Sandwiches, Soup, Salad, Breakfast items and even has a Sunday Brunch. Like many other big box restaurants in the area, they offer Curbside To-Go Service for carry out.

The Cheesecake Factory is located at 148 Crocker Park Boulevard, Westlake, OH 44145. Their hours are:
Monday – Thursday 11:30 AM – 11:00 PM
Friday – Saturday 11:30 AM – 12:30 AM
Sunday 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM

  2. I could eat at the Cheesecake Factory every single day. Honestly!

    Crocker Park rules.

You have an interesting blog. I found it through Blog Catalog when I was doing some research on the Cleveland Indians.

    Thanks!

  3. We ate at Crocker Park Cheesecake Factory in Westlake last Saturday night. After waiting one hour, YES, one hour, we noticed a couple who had come in Waaaaaaay after us being seated. I asked why that was so and the hostess asked for my name and said they had paged us long ago. Well, the moron checked and the pager they gave us was not working. To top it off, three Hispanic people were seated next to us eyeing up my jewelry and my companion’s cash. He then placed a call on a cell phone describing us to a T and mentioning my “platina, oros, mucho dinado our clothing and anything else these worthless scum could think of. Thankfully my companion and I understand Spanish, altered our appearance and left the place without incident since we knew he had commanded the person on the other end to “robelos” (means rob them).

The meal was great and the service was good but watch out for the people next to you. These scum gave off really bad vibes.

  4. I found out about the Cheesecake Factory through http://www.crockerparkohio.com and have been a loyal customer of them ever since. I have had some of the best food ever from there, and the strawberry cheesecake is to die for.

@ Rose B. the comment above, sometimes you may get a bad waiter/waitress but they don’t usually last very long. I’ve had a couple bad ones in my visits but I don’t let it take away from the overall experience of the great food.
