Review of Champps in Westlake, Ohio

Champps is a casual eatery that has outdoor seating

Champps is a Sports establishment that offers a relaxed dining experience, complete with your favorite beverage! They offer both inside and outside dining areas. The outdoor patio was perfect for our visit. The sun didn't beat down on you and you could people watch as you sipped an iced tea and conversed in the fine afternoon air.

They are also located in the Crocker Park Shopping Center, across the street from Blake's Seafood and the Hyde Park Steakhouse that recently opened. Hoggy's Barn and Grill are located next door.

Their menu is pretty extensive, with a large selection of appetizers, burgers, entrees, and salads. You are bound to find something that even the pickiest eater will like. They even offer a limited "Carb Conscious" menu for those that are counting carbs. My husband had "Balsamic Glazed Chicken" entree from it. It was 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts served with grilled vegetables. He also ordered a Caesar salad to prelude it. (For an extra charge) There was so much, I had to nibble on the grilled veggies!

I chose the "Pan Pacific Chicken Salad". I am usually not too fond of things like mandarin oranges on salads, but found this to be really tasty. Served with an orange-ginger salad dressing, it tasted just enough oriental. It was also served with chopsticks and a little umbrella like I used to collect when I was a kid.

I would say Champps is a great place to dine and meet up with friends, family and colleauges. Happy faces and fast service.
